Botany

This is a small collection of items (around 30) largely relating to the Botany history of the Department Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. A large proportion of the items are related to the botanical research of mid-century professor Dorothy Forward—some of these are likely locally-made instruments designed for investigation in a research or teaching environment. Other items are associated with the Department’s long history of teaching the introductory biology course BIO110. The Botany collection represents research from the early part of the 20th century to approximately the 1980s.

Access: Interested researchers should contact Michael Arlt, the Teaching Lab Coordinator at the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. Although most of these objects are usually on display, they are currently in storage.
