A metal base, circular and painted black, supports a circular brass plate on a cylindrical central tower. The black base has a metal terminal located near its edge. The support rises from the centre of the circular base and consists of a metal rod covered in a brown non-conducting material. The brass plate is affixed to the top of this; there is a small electrical terminal on the underside of the rim of the plate.
