Seafloor Receiver Unit

Geophysics · Physics

An assembly consisting of several circuit boards separated by spacers. The assembly has a roughly cylindrical form suggesting that it is meant to be mounted in the cylindrical pressure vessel typical of seafloor instruments.

The grey platform at the base includes a mount for a 2.5″ hard drive.

The top circuit board features a number of ports and dip switches. Along the centre line of the circular board is a line of five LED circuit board indicators. One the underside of this board is a model 2510 crystal oscillator.
