This object is a the base of a small tripod lab-stand. It consists of three feet from which a simple metal tube rises vertically. This is open at the top end.

Condition:

Fair: The majority of the surface of the stand is badly corroded. There is a small smudge of blue paint on the upright tube close to the tripod base.

Provenance:

This object was moved from the David Dunlap Observatory in Richmond Hill in 2009, upon the sale of the observatory. It was stored at the Department of Astronomy and Astrophysics until 2017, when it was moved to a new storage location in McLennan Physical Laboratories.
