A metal cutting instrument with a grey galvanized finish. The instrument consists primarily of a sturdy cutting surface and an integral blade, hinged at either end, so that the blade remains parallel to the cutting surface as it descends. The blade has a black spherical handle. The surface has a right angle stop used to orient a paraffin block towards the blade.

This artifact appears undamaged and intact. There are small patches of paraffin on its cutting surface and especially on its blade.
