2021.JAC.62.1: An hand-held instrument with a grey rubberized finish. A long cord emerges from the rear of the instrument. A tube-like metallic port emerges from the handle just above the cord. At the tip of the instrument is a rotating collar for locking a tool tip in place. Below the collar is an on-off switch.
2021.JAC.62.2: The disposable bit consists of two nested components. One has a metal stem ending in a sharp cutting or boring end. The other is a tube-like housing for the former. Both have stems made of yellow plastic.
Note that both 2021.JAC.62.1 and 2021.JAC.62.2 had small patches of adhesive Velcro tape attached. This suggests that they may have been placed on display. The Velcro patch was removed from 2021.JAC.62.2.
