Albert Nestler No. 41 Slide Rule

A 4″ (more accurately, 11 cm) System Rietz type slide rule is made of celluloid (or the plastic Astrolon) on a mahogany base. It is very small and extremely light weight. The cursor is made of plastic (most likely Plexiglass) and the frame is made of aluminum. Consistent with the Rietz style, the back of the slide contains two scales. In addition, there is a centimeter and inch rule at the back also. The manufacturer’s name and model number is etched on the inside of the stock, underneath the slide. A cardboard case is included. Scales: Front: A, B, C, D. Not named. Back of the slide: S, T. Back of the stock: inch and centimeter rules. Markings: Germany; No. 41 Albert Nester A.-G.
